This our favorite place for dollar tacos. There are games for the kids and pool tables for the adults. There are multiple screens with sports on all the time. The atmosphere is more of a sports bar than mexican. We always get great service and the waitresses work thier butts off. Snowbird season can be a bit crowded on tues dollar taco night. There are better mexican restaurants in Havasu, but I still recommeend it.

Love this place!! Come here every time we're in town. Perfect for the whole family. The portions are huge and the quality is great, and can't beat the price. Service is always top notch. Seriously a hidden gem.

I was on vacation with my boyfriend, his brother and his chick and we were looking fora good mexican joint.. lo and behold yelp. SO glad we came here! All of us scarfed down our food - $1 tacos, chicken flautas, enchiladas rancheras & chili verde.. we all enjoyed our meal and cant wait to come back. It was pretty busy so things took a little longer than normal (order taken, water refilled, final check) but these girls were literally jogging around the place taking care of their tables so we didnt mind. Our food came out pretty darn fast though :) I definitely recommend here!

This place is a local gem that you would never know existed due to the strange corporate warehousey location. My family and I have been coming to Chili Charlies for YEARS and we always get awesome service and delicious comfort food. Love that they have pool tables and arcade games for the kiddies too. LOVE YOU CHILI CHARLIES!!

We decided to venture out tonight & try a different Mexican Restaurant. OMG home run! Ashely was our server, she was AWESOME, so friendly and very helpful! Loved the atmosphere, the food was great, salsa good as well! Can't wait to take my kids when we come next time. Both my boys check Yelp to help them decide on new places to try!

Chili Charlie's is just okay in my book. The food is American and Mexican cuisine, but it just doesn't do anything for me. While it's definitely a cheap place to go for a sit-down meal, it's not the best option in Havasu either. I have heard numerous times that they have the best carnitas, but I don't eat meat, so I haven't tried them myself. But if you like carnitas, it' would definitely be worth checking that rumor out. Most entrees cost under $8, so you will leave here without feeling like you broke the bank. But will you leave here wanting to come back? I'm not so sure.

My friends and I were in town for a event for the weekend and I had heard this place was good so I convinced 4-of my friends to join me and try it out. So we walk through the door and have a seat at the bar. I say "hello, this is our 1st time here and I thought because my name is Charlie and my wife and I love chili that I would try it out" Response "what can I get you?" I say "I saw online that you had a special and we all were thinking of having that" Response "no that is not the price, this is the price" I say "well it's advertised online on your website, I will show you" Response "it must be somewhere else, we don't have that special" "what can I get you?" I say "well it's right here on my cell phone look" Response " that's not the price" and walks away and tells the manager. All this while looking really pissed and irritated as hell. My friends all got the same vice and asked me what was going on. So the manager walks over, I explain and show the website online to her, she said that she didn't know they had not changed it and is super cool and professional and said she will honor the special for my friends and I. I said "thank you so much, I appreciate it. Then the bartender/server comes back over, takes our order with the same grumpy super pissed off look and tells me that the owner said that "you and your friends can have the special". I say thank you I spoke with the manager already. She then came over and asked if I wanted to order food and I said that I don't feel comfortable with her attitude towards us and I don't want to eat there, then I add that I have worked 10 yrs+ in the restaurant industry growing up and that it was unprofessional to treat us that way and that I am a Yelp user and I'm going to leave my experience on there. She then starts to begin to get concerned about it and asks why, and tells the manager. Manager walks out front to talk to owner on the phone, I go out and share my entire experience with her and she was very understanding and apologetic. I seriously thought that they couldn't have had a better manager running the place. As far as the experience with the bartender/server, I have to say I wouldn't give it another chance until she is employed elsewhere. Cool place, food looked great, great management and one bad seed that needs a new job. If you stop by just watch out for the grumpy rude woman.

I really think Chili Charlies has some of the best Mexican cuisine in town, I just wish they weren't so far from our house. Love their chimi's, but bring your appetite cause it's the size of a baby's leg. Food is always fresh, service is good as well.

Chili Charlies is a hidden gem. Restaurant goers need to drive through a storage unit complex to get to the restaurant! The quirks of a small town business! Arcade games run along on the the walls, two pool tables, and TVs aplenty! Their Chili Verde is amazing and their quesadillas are solid. Good, cheap Mexican food delivered with a smile and beer. What's not to like?

This place is worth finding off the main highway. The food is very good and priced right. The servers always have a great attitude that makes you feel good. Overall very good and the Tacos are great.

Went there on Thursday 4/17 for tacos and chili. We were sitting close to the kitchen and I saw the cook use his finger to wipe the ladle of chili and then put the finger in his mouth with out washing his hands. I think this is a violation of the Health dept. we won't go back. Not worth 1 star.

A group of us went to Chili Charlies last night for dollar tacos. The taco were very good and only $1.00 each! Pitcher of beer ( Miller Lite ) was a bit high at $7.50 each. All in all the food was good and the service excellent. Dinner for 8 adults including tacos for all, a fried ice cream ( which was only ok), 3 pitchers of beer, and a soda was $80.00 including a generous tip. Hard to beat! The place is not much for atmosphere and is located buried in an industrial park, but it is definitely worth a try....

This is a kind of hole in the wall a little tough to find your first time but worth the search. Good place for a beer and to play a game of pool. I've only had the chicken salad but it was a nice portion and great. Beer was cold and server was friendly!

OK, we came back again this Tuesday because we raved about the tacos. I don't know what happened this week, but the tacos were totally different this time. They were not full of meat and the shells were soggy. Everyone's were not very good, and the big plate of rice shrunk in half. Don't know if they changed cooks that night, but we will question about going back again!

I never quite understood how a restaurant could do a "deal night" and then act like they are surprised when people actually show up and run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Well here at Chili Charlie's, they all seemed surprised that a ton of people showed up for their dollar taco Tuesday deal. I'm fine waiting a bit longer for my order, but 20 minutes for 3 tacos and rice is kind of ridiculous. And on top of that I don't even get three tacos, I get one. Then, when I tell my waitress I only received one of my three tacos I think to myself "my work here is done, I'm going to get my two tacos", I'm left high and dry. I don't know why I thought that asking for my correct order would do the trick. Apparently It was a fleeting dream of deliciousness, guess I'll fill up on chips and pay my tab. Speaking of which, the tacos....well tacO, singular....was pretty tasty. The salsa has a nice kick and the house wine was good for only $5. YMMV, but there's gotta be a better spot in town for tacos. Actually, I'm still hungry, maybe I'll go find it.

If you're expecting a real Mexican restaurant, this isn't the place. It's a bar in an industrial area that serves Mexican style food. We had chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. Way too salty, couldn't eat. Server just said she'd tell the cook. I don't expect free, but a small deduction would have been good. Chips were ok, but most were crumbs. The only thing good was the ice tea.

Good tacos. Easily the worst service I've ever experienced. My margarita came with a complimentary floating beer bottle cap and they didn't comp it. They don't need more business (and they can't handle more)!

We stopped in on Taco Tuesday with my dad and two small kids. The tacos were a $1 and the beer was priced nicely also. The bill was less than $30 for 5 people. The tacos were large with lots of fresh lettuce, tomato, cheese and choice of meat. I also ordered a diner salad and it was less than $2. They have games for kids and a relaxed atmosphere. I'd definitely go there again.

We really enjoy Chili Charlies! Tuesday is $1 tacos and although I don't order them my husband loves them and says they're the best dollar tacos in town. By far better than Javalina Cantinas. Their regular menu has lots of selection and the food is fresh tasting. The place is always clean and the staff is dependably competent and friendly. My only *very minor* complaint is that the boots seats are less than desirable, they're worn and cracked and can sure pinch on your legs when you're wearing shorts! ouch! Nice work Chili Charlies but please give a little tlc to your benches.

Yelpers let me down on this one. Chile Relleno was watery and obviously frozen before reheating and serving. Carnitas was ok but no seasoning. Asked the waitress what the best thing in the menu was and she replied 'Our fajitas are pretty good'. Should have known. Service was fine, had a really good fresh mango purée margarita, but the food was pretty bad.

Frankly, I don't know how anyone could dislike Chili Charlie's. I mean really, a great fun environment, friendly people, amazing food, old style arcade games, a bar, a pool table..what could one want more?! This place has been my family's favorite restaurant since before I was even born! Everytime we come on vacation to Lake Havasu we MUST go to eat here at LEAST once! Every person we have dragged along w/ us throughout the years have also fallen in love w/ Chili Charlie's too! We were totally disappointed last year when we came to Havasu and found Chili Charlie's chained up closed, but it was totally worth waiting for this year! Their Chilé Verde is delicious as well as are their chicken strips! I have never once been disappointed with the food here. As a person who knows a relatively great amount of knowledge about good and bad mexican food, I can say I know delicious mexican food when I taste it. And trust me that RARELY every happens! Either way this place is COMPLETELY worth taking a visit to! The environment is fun, laid back, and definitely friendly! The prices are amazing seeing as they don't leave you feeling guilty for going out to eat, which as a vacationer I sometimes tend to do! Put it this way, my most recent trip to Chili Charlie's only cost around $40 for four people. As a Californian, I must say that that is one HELL of a deal! If you are in the mood for a place to kick back, have a great time w/ friends & be able to enjoy delicious food, Chili Charlie's is definitely the place to be! Thanks Chili Charlie's for never failing to always make my summers great! :]

Jaime hired back as manager and brought his former cooks with him. Great Mexican food and service. A little noisy if there is a large group in there. Dollar tacos on Tues., Thurs., and Sunday. Mexican Buffet on Wednesday night.

Are the rumors true? Chili Charlies is back?! YAY!!! I remember coming here twice when I was in 8th grade, when I first went out to Havasu to visit my grandparents with my family. Of course I got the taquitos with guacamole...oh man, was it good!! Everything was perfect! There wasn't a single problem with what I got, and my family didn't complain either. They have some sort of open-faced sandwich of some sort (I don't remember what it was) but my dad said it was really good. While you are waiting for your order, you can play a game of pool or enjoy one of several little arcade games they have...I was hooked on Pacman for a while, so that's where I spent most of my time! Iam totally going back the next time I'm in AZ, and hopefully nothing has changed!
